Hi Laura Marie,

Thank you for your feedback on our carrycot plus™ for twins. We're delighted to hear that the carrycot was beneficial for your newborns. We’re sorry to learn about the challenges you faced when transitioning to the parent-facing seats.

We encourage all parents to watch our instructional video, as it offers valuable tips and guidance on using our products correctly. In the parent-facing seat mode, each child has an individual seat.

Regarding the harness, we recommend thinking of it like a car seat harness. Ensure it is adjusted to the correct level: the top harness should sit at shoulder height, and the side straps should align around the hip or waist. When tightened properly, with the straps in the correct position, this helps minimise movement and ensures a secure fit.

Thank you once again for your feedback and review—it helps us improve and better support parents like you.

Disappointed

I had high hopes for the twin carrycot. It was one of the reasons why we chose the mountain buggy stroller—I live in a small house, so I thought it would be convenient for babies to nap in and for walks, but it is not great. The hood broke as soon as we took it out of the box, even before our babies were born. One of the buttons that make it go up and down doesn't push in, so it got stuck in the up position. It is under warranty but the mountain buggy customer service is terrible and we have been waiting for a replacement hood since December when we received it (we ordered the carrycot in august waited four months for it to ship to us). Our babies were born in January, so the hood has been stuck in the upright position the whole time and we cannot fit it in our car, meaning we can only use it for walks in our neighborhood and in the house. Another issue is that it does not flat as advertised, the flat position is actually a slight incline. Our twins are about 6 lbs now, and they slide down to the bottom of the cot after a while. Additionally, there's a lump around where the bottom is divided, which it causes my twins to roll to the sides. Finally, it is very difficult to take the sheet on the bottom pad off and put it back on. My girls have drooled or spit up on it, and it is nearly impossible to get that thing back on the foam after you wash it.

Hi Megan - thanks very much for your feedback :)
We are sorry to read about your experience so far with the twin carrycot plus™. We trust you have since received your sunhood now - we do sincerely apologise for the delay.

You mention the lie-flat mode and how it has a slight incline. This slight incline is obvious when you have the carrycot attached to the adaptor (on the frame), and when there is no weight inside. Once you place your babies inside, parents tend to have them more at the head of the carrycot, so that weight distribution where they are lying more at the top, will level the angle to be lie flat, and in some instances with the head ever so slightly higher - a position much safer, as opposed to the head lower than the feet.

We're always continuously working to improve our brand experience with our amazing customers and absolutely appreciate the constructive feedback of where we can improve - we take your review and experience on board.
Thank you again

Parent facing seats unusable

When the twins turned 6 months we were looking forward to the parent facing seats. A major reason we bought this product as we wanted them facing us as long as possible.
The twins are small, 6.5 & 7kg, however they were too big to fit side by side in the seats. The seats are too narrow and the boys kept rolling into each other, getting their arms tangled under one another & overheating. Even with the straps tightened. So we ended up carrying one in the sling with 1 in the buggy. But the 1 in the buggy kept rolling sideways and the strap was too tight near his neck. So unfortunately after several attempts we had to move them to the front facing seats. Very disappointing as our singleton was facing us until she was 1 and we'd hoped this twin buggy would offer the same.

Don't hesitate! You need this

We LOVE the carry cot. Our walks with the twins are so fun having them side by side. This is the only twin bassinet option where they face you. I shopped all around and this is high quality and amazing for active people.

Hi Emmy, thanks for your awesome review! Glad to hear that you love the carrycot for your twins, especially the parent facing mode. MBx

We are in LOVE with our carrycot plus for twins!

We are in love with our carrycot plus for twins! The special bond twins share is somthing I am very privileged to witness with my two 3 month old boys. The comfort it brings them being able to stay close and snuggle up to each other just as they do at home in their cot, and just as they did in the womb, when out and about in the buggy is somthing I'm extremly thankful for! Not only is it amazing for out and about but we use our carrycot plus for twins at home too. It's absolutely perfect to pop them in during that witching hour each evening as I prepare dinner. I can talk to them and rock the pram next to me in the kitchen and they almost always dose off for a little while! Our boys sleep so well in the carrycot plus for twins we plan to take camping with us over the summer holidays to use as their safe sleep space day and night. The detachable base has been amazing at both home and playcentre, we regularly detach and place on the ground so the other children can see and chat to the boys, all whilst keeping them safe in their own space . Its now a space they know and they feel safe in, together just as they always have been.
I really couldn't recdomend this product enough and it has certainly helped us out very much during this amazing but challenging twin journey.

Thanks for your lovely review Dee! It's so great to hear how carrycot plus™ for twins is helping you navigate your incredible twin journey. MBx
